By making a booking with Younique Stays, you agree to our terms and conditions as outlined below. Booking and Payment Policy When booking direct, a 10% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance of your accommodation must be paid 7 days prior to your arrival. Our finance team will charge your card, or we can send you an invoice to avoid card surcharges. A credit card must be held on file (stored securely) for all direct bookings, in case of below instances. We pass on the surcharge that we are charged from our payment merchant, this is: $0.22 per transaction + 1.43% MSF, OR + 2.97% MSF for Travel Cards. At Younique Stays, we utilise a secure payment processing system. We require your card number, expiry date, and CCV to process your payment. If processing a refund, the card surcharge is non-refundable. A receipt of successful payment will be provided via email. Each property has a different base rate, with the default amount of guests included in the base rate varying between properties. Each additional guest beyond the base rate incurs a $40 per person, per night charge. Check in and check out details, as well as other property-specific information will be provided with your Booking Confirmation. We don’t require a Security Deposit, however by confirming your reservation, guests authorise Younique Stays to charge your credit card for damages considered beyond reasonable wear and tear, or for not adhering to the house rules. Your booking includes a standard clean, any additional charges we incur which are beyond reasonable are to be charged to your credit card at a rate of $60 per hour. Guests are prohibited from moving or rearranging furniture at the property. Extra charges will be charged for damages or time spent by staff returning the property to its original layout. Lost property – guests are solely responsible for their belongings. We charge a fixed $20 fee for domestic freight, or $40 for international freight. Guests must make all reasonable effort to ensure they take their belongings with them upon departure. Cancellation Policy Our cancellation policy when booking with Younique Stays directly: You may cancel within 3 business days of your arrival date, and receive a full refund minus the credit card surcharge. Should you cancel within 3 business days of your arrival date, no refund will be given and no exceptions will be made. House Rules - Strict No parties or excessive noise levels after 10pm, please, respect our neighbours. No camping, caravans or tents on the property. Only the amount of guests staying at the property are allowed to stay the night. No fires or make-shift firepits are to be created. No smoking inside the property or within 5m of doorways. A minimum of $300 will be charged to your account if there is evidence of smoking inside. Clean the BBQ if used. If any of the above House Rules are suspected to be broken, management will ask you to vacate the premises effective immediately, and terminate your stay. Your payment will forfeited and you will not be welcome back at a Younique Stays property. Failure to leave the property when asked will result in police assistance under extreme circumstances. Extra Charges Younique Stays reserves the rights to charge additional fees at our discretion for liabilities including, but not limited to the following: Damage caused by guests Additional guests staying not disclosed in booking (2 guests = 1 bed) Replacement of lost/snapped keys Callouts to the property due to an issue caused by the guests, or guests failure to read provided information Noise complaints from neighbours Evidence of a non-disclosed function/party Breach of the above-mentioned house rules/rental agreement Damage or mess caused by pets/animals Pets staying at a non-pet friendly property Late check out - $50 per 15 minutes past 10am, unless explicitly agreed by management prior to check out Refund Policy We have made every attempt to present the property you have booked to the highest of standards. If you feel that something is inappropriate, we ask that you phone on 0408547966 as soon as you notice the issue. We must be provided with reasonable time tor rectify the issue. It is unlikely that compensation will be considered unless we have been notified and provided the opportunity to resolve. Unreported issues do not warrant a refund after a guest’s departure. If the guest has notified the management of the issue, and you have not received a response in a reasonable timeframe, a partial refund may be considered depending on the circumstance, and the severity of the fault. If you accidentally cause damage to the property, this must be reported straight away. You may be held liable financially. If a third party issue is experienced eg. WiFi network, power or water disruptions (excluding tank water & septic), these issues are required to be reported to management immediately. We won’t be held liable for these disruptions, but we will try our best to source more information. Indemnity & Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no case shall Younique Stays, nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents or property owners be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages or for any damages for death, personal or bodily injury, emotional distress or damage to property, arising out of or in connection with your stay. This limitation applies to all claims for damages including negligence even if Younique Stays has been advised of the possibility of such. The Guest is responsible for their own travel/health insurance. Neither the property Owner or Manager shall be held responsible in any way for accidental injury, death, or damage/loss to personal effects of the Guest. If, due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control, such as flood, fire or other damage, and the Owner is unable to honour this agreement, the booking amount shall be fully refunded minus the credit card fee incurred during payment. The Guest is responsible for all damages, excluding wear and tear, including those which exceed the deposit amount. By confirming this booking upon payment, the Guest and Manager agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. In Summary When you pay the 10% deposit, you are agreeing to the above conditions and are bound by the terms of the agreement. You authorise Younique Stays to debit any charges they deem required if evidence of broken house rules or the rental agreement.
