Terms & Conditions

Summary of Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policy for Alpine Motel Wanaka & Apartments: Booking Requirements: A credit card is required to secure all bookings. For group or long-stay bookings, a 20% deposit is needed, with the balance payable upon arrival. Non-refundable reservations are non-refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours before check-in or no-shows will be charged 100% of the first night. Non-Direct Bookings: please refer to the platform that you have booked through to cancel or make changes, cancellations within the cancellation timeframe are non-refundable. Changes to reservations are treated as new bookings and subject to availability and subject to room rate changes. Payment is due on arrival, with any additional charges settled at check-out. Accounts not paid before departure may incur overdue fees. Undeclared guests will be charged $40 per person. The motel reserves the right to refuse bookings that exceed the stated number of guests without a refund. Quiet times from 10pm-7.00am. Any disturbances may result in eviction without a refund. Damages caused by guests will be charged to the registered guest credit card. No Pets: Please make external arrangement for pets. Charges at the discretion of the motel will apply if this policy is not adhered to. Rooms are non-smoking and non-vaping. Additional cleaning fees and loss of income charges will apply if smoking or strong odors prevent future bookings. Deposit and Prepayment for Group Bookings: A credit card is required to secure group bookings, with full payment due 30 days before arrival. Cancellations must be made with at least 7 days' notice for free cancellation; otherwise, 10% of the booking will be charged. Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in will result in a 100% charge. Facilities: Rooms include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and TV channels. The motel has a playground, BBQ area, and free parking. We recommend guests have their own travel insurance to protect them in the event that their travel arrangements change.
