Beachcomber Resort Surfers Paradise is conveniently located in the heart of the Gold Coast, 3 minutes’ walk from the shops, restaurants, and bars on Cavill Avenue. Coolangatta Airport is 20km drive away. Beachcomber provides air conditioned rooms with free unlimited Wi-Fi. The studios have a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator while the one bedroom units have laundry facilities and a full kitchen. Each unit has a spacious seating area with a TV and a balcony. Please note that all our units are individually owned and they all have different décor and furniture. Guests can work out in the fitness centre or relax in the sauna. The resort also features an indoor and outdoor pool and a tennis court.

Terms & Conditions

The Booking Terms & Conditions are below for your reference. Check in is available from 2pm and check out is required by 10am. You are welcome to arrive early and make use of the luggage storage and resort facilities until check in time. Our reception hours are 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Saturday and 9.00am - 1pm Sunday & Public Holidays. Cancellation Policy-Refunds Cancellation Policy ● Between 14 days or 30 days and 48 hours prior to check-in - $200 or 50% of payment made, whichever is greater or no refund given if booked with 14 days advance purchase ● Within 48 hours prior to check-100% of cost. No Show A no show is when you do not check in on the scheduled day. In the case of a no show your full payment will not be refunded. Early Departures Should guests decide to depart earlier than scheduled the accommodation, charges for the unused nights will only be refunded if all unused nights are re-let. In the event of a refund is given it will be subject to an administration fee of $50. Parking We do have secure underground parking available at $10 per night (free if you book directly with us). Entrance to the car park is from Trickett Street. The height restriction is 1.92m. Bond & security deposit Upon check-in you will be required to provide a credit card per-authorisation of $300 or a $300 cash deposit to cover any miscellaneous charges. Photographic Identification When you check in you will be asked to provide photographic identification in the form of drivers licence and credit card. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled. Check in Check in time is 2.00pm. Should you wish to guarantee an earlier check in time you must book an additional night’s stay at the time of booking and pay the applicable rate. Check out Check out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to have a late check out time you may pay an additional $15 per hour (after 10am) up to 12 noon for a late check out. Please enquire when checking in if late check out is available. Late check out is subject to availability. You are welcome to utilise our facilities on the day of departure. Unaccompanied Minors All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian. If a guest is found to be under the age of 18 and is not accompanied by an adult, Beachcomber may immediately cancel the guest’s booking. Linen PLEASE NOTE: All linen is provided (with the exception of the beach towels). Units are not serviced daily. Should you require fresh linen or a service this may be provided at an additional cost. We provide a complimentary starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, soap, conditioner and shampoo and any additional items will need to be purchased by you. Travel Insurance Beachcomber strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cover for forfeiture of deposits upon cancellation of booking. Release & Indemnity To the extent permitted by law, any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought into the room or onto the grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and Beachcomber is not responsible for their safe keeping. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Beachcomber and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at Beachcomber for any reason whatsoever. You agree to indemnify Beachcomber and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by Beachcomber or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at Beachcomber except to the extent caused or contributed to by Beachcomber or its current or former officers, employees or agent’s negligence. We grant you a licence to stay at our property and we reserve the right to terminate the licence at any time.
