At Bella Vista Motel Queenstown we cater for all your business or recreational needs. Whilst central, the motel is also very quiet, allowing you a good night's sleep. We are easy to find on Robins Road being one of the closest motels to central Queenstown. Only 5 minutes’ walk from the lakefront and Skyline Gondola which takes you to the top of Bobs Peak, giving you spectacular views over the city. We have plenty of parking, so you can leave your car and avoid parking issues or explore on foot. Our Queenstown motel accommodation includes a variety of studios plus one, two and three bedroom interconnecting units which means we can offer accommodation suitable for couples, families or smaller groups. PAYMENT POLICY: No payment is required at the time of booking, although a credit card is required to secure your reservation. Payment may be taken at any time after booking if it applies to a non-changeable or non-refundable booking. Otherwise, payments will be taken after the cancellation policy falls in before you arrive at the motel using the credit card supplied along with any related credit card surcharges. Should you wish to pay differently, you are required to contact the motel when the booking was made. The other method may not be available for last-minute booking. CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE: A surcharge of 2.5% applies to all MasterCard, Visa & UnionCard payments, including debit cards. The surcharge for Amex & JCB transactions is 3.0%. Alternatively, you may wish to pay by EFTPOS or direct credit into our bank account which will not incur a surcharge. To arrange such an alternative method of payment, you must contact the motel at the time of booking and it may not be available for last-minute booking. If the card on file declines, we will give you a grace period of 24 hours to supply new information. If we haven't heard from you within 24 hours, your reservation may be cancelled. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation policy terms can vary depending on the promotion employed and the time of stay of the booking. Please refer to the Booking Details of the booking for the cancellation policy. Any cancellations or changes to a confirmed reservation within the cancellation policy period of the booking and no-show will be charged in full. The total amount of your confirmed reservation will be charged including the credit card surcharged. In the event of a no-show, the reservation will be immediately cancelled and charged in full. All cancellations and amendments must be made in writing via email, or via the online provider the reservation was made through. As a direct booking, the cancellation policy is 24 hours except for the certain events and dates in Queenstown mentioned below. The cancellation policy for group reservations over 3 (three) rooms will be different and the standard term is 30 days. Please refer to the booking correspondence with the motel that supersedes all other cancellation policies. Winter Season: June 15th - September 30th 2024 June 14th - September 30th 2025 During the above dates, please note ALL Studio rooms have a 3-day cancellation period and ALL Large Studios and Apartments have a 7-day cancellation period. Queenstown Marathon weekend: November 15th - 17th for 2024 (2025 dates are TBC) Please note ALL Studio rooms have a 7-day cancellation period and ALL Large Studios and Apartments have a 14-day cancellation period. The total amount of your confirmed reservation including credit card surcharges can be pre-charged once the cancellation policy falls in. Christmas & New Year: 23rd Dec. 2023 - 7th Jan. 2024, 25th Dec. 2024 - 5th Jan. 2025 For guests booking during our Christmas and New Year holiday period running from December 23rd to January 3rd, a 14-day (2-week) pre-payment and cancellation policy applies which supersedes any other cancellation policies. The credit card provided at the time of booking plus any related transaction fees will be charged. In the unlikely event of a cancellation or change to a confirmed reservation on/or within 14 days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged the total amount of your reservation. These charges would be made to the credit card supplied at the reservation. Important Information: Guests arriving later than 5:00 pm are requested to contact us prior to arrival to arrange an after-hours check in. We strongly advise guests to purchase travel insurance to cover for any unforeseen changes to their travel plans. The credit card provided at reservation plus any related credit card surcharges will be processed if you arrive late/ after office has closed.
