Or maybe you would prefer a more leisurely activity, Esplanade Apartments location makes it the perfect Dunedin accommodation to just laze, go for a walk or swim, or indulge in a gorgeous lunch. At the southern end of the beach is St Clair hot salt water heated swimming pool, a must for visitors, open annually from October to March Dunedin Spring Summer months. This unique pool is nestled within rocks just metres from the ocean. In 2004 the sea wall was refurbished to provide a modern, wide esplanade, with steps leading down to the beautiful sandy beach. Explore the esplanade and choose from the great range of restaurants and bars catering for every occasion, from a quiet morning coffee taking in views of the Southern Ocean, to a lively night out in a fantastic seaside setting. There is also a remodelled playground for children. St Clair Beach is a ten minute drive from the Dunedin city centre, or hop on one of the local buses that run regularly from the beach to the city.

Payment Policy At the time of making a reservation your credit card details will be required to secure the booking in regard to our cancellation policy. Payment will be taken prior to arrival on the day of check in with the credit card used when the reservation was made. A credit card must be provided to cover all charges that may be made against the room and any possible damages caused by misuse or carelessness. CHECK IN and OUT: We now have a self check in system as reception may be closed on your arrival. A pin code will be sent via mobile phone or email with all check in information on the morning of your arrival. Check in time is from 2pm, and guests can self check in. Check out time is before 10am . Variations outside these times must be arranged with reception prior to the day of arrival or departure so that staffing arrangements can be made. We are happy to store your luggage. All our rooms, balconies and indoor guest areas are strictly non smoking. Smoking is permitted in an around our outdoor areas. PLEASE dispose of any smoke butts in pots provided. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made within 48 hours prior to the day of arrival, reduction of stay length should also be made 48 hours prior to the date of any change, otherwise a cancellation fee equivalent to the first nights stay may be charged against the card used to secure the booking. Please note that the bookings are only valid for the dates as booked and for the number of people indicated. We reserve the right to have minimum periods of stay and a maximum number of people in our rooms.
