Deposit Taken Pty Ltd Office Hours: 9:00am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 12:01pm Saturday. Closed Sundays and public holidays. Check in is available from 2pm seven days a week (excluding Christmas Day). Check out is required by 10am seven days a week. Contactless key collection: Operates 24 hours a day from the key box outside our office. Access is via a combination lock; you will receive your combination for prior to arrival. Keys are available from 2:00pm on your arrival day and need to be returned to the key box by 10:00am on your departure day. Description Our staff will describe the properties to the best of their ability and in good faith. No responsibility, refund or relocating for alleged misinterpretation can be accepted. Occupancy Rules Strictly no smoking in the property, on balconies or common property. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. All occupants are required to respect the property and its furnishings. Any moving of furniture could result in a deduction of security deposit, when vacating, please leave furniture as you found it. If provided, please make sure barbeques and their utensils are cleaned prior to departure (or an extra cleaning fee will be charged). If applicable, and you need to switch over the gas cylinder for the house please notify us so that the next tenants do not run out. *UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE PETS PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY UNLESS PREVIOUSLY ARRANGED WITH THE OWNER IN WRITING. IF PETS ARE SEEN ON PROPERTY THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES CHARGED AND OR LOSS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT. When vacating the premises, it is expected of you to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. If the cleaner is required to do more than a standard clean the additional clean will be deducted from your security deposit. If FREE INTERNET is supplied, any interruptions can take time to rectify. If internet is essential, please make sure you have a back-up plan (e.g. hotspot from your phone). Property Inspections Breakages, damages and lost keys are to be reported and paid for. If cleaners report any damages, breakages, missing items etc to our office after cleaning the premises, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit, or, if warranted a letter of demand will be issued by this company to the outgoing occupant. Cancellations Part cancellations of a booking will not be accepted. The landlord may cancel up to 3 months prior to the letting, in which case the tenant will receive a full refund. Should the tenant cancel up to 3 months before the letting, the tenant will be entitled to a full refund of all deposits paid, excluding the booking fee. A tenant cancelling a booking within 3 months of the date booked will only be entitled to a refund, less a 10% cancellation fee and the booking fee, providing the accommodation is re-let for the whole term of the cancelled booking at the full rental amount. Credit Card Fees Apply when processing payments at 1.42%+$0.22c per transaction or 2.97% + $0.22c per transaction for Virtual Credit Cards (VCC). Late check-out If prior arrangements have not been made for a late check-out, a late fee will apply. The late fee will be charged at $66 per hour. Re-Location Property owners reserve the right to request that their property be removed from the rent roll or put on the market for sale. Should the property you booked become unavailable, this office will endeavour to relocate you to a similar property. Should you not wish to take an alternative property, you will receive a 100% refund. No responsibility will be taken by this office. Linen: PLEASE NOTE: All linen is provided (with the exception of the beach towels). Properties are not serviced daily. Should you require fresh linen or a service this may be provided at an additional cost. This is not a services property, once complimentary consumables (e. g. toilet paper) are used up, you will need to replace them at your expense. • Travel insurance is not included: We recommend you to purchase appropriate cover after booking. Privacy Policy: 1. 1 You consent and authorise the Agent (Deposit Taken Pty Ltd) to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking. 2. You consent to information which you have provided to the Agent as part of your booking being used by the Agent or any of their related bodies corporate for the purpose of informing you about offers and promotions which relate to the Agent’s business. 3. The Agent will not provide or disclose any information you have provided to the Agent to any person other than a related body corporate without your prior written consent. 4. Upon request by you and to the extent permitted or required by law, the Agent will provide you with access to and/or the ability to correct your personal information however only the person who made the booking will be entitled to access and/or correct personal information pertaining to that booking. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy is available at shireagents.com.au Release & Indemnity: To the extent permitted by law, any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought into the room or onto the grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and Deposit Taken Pty Ltd is not responsible for their safe keeping. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Deposit Taken Pty Ltd and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at properties we manage, for any reason whatsoever. You agree to indemnify Deposit Taken Pty Ltd and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by Deposit Taken Pty Ltd or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at properties we manage, except to the extent caused or contributed to by Deposit Taken Pty Ltd or its current or former officers, employees or agent’s negligence. We grant you a licence to stay at the property you have booked and we reserve the right to terminate the licence at any time.
