The Majestic Mansions - Apartments at St Clair, Dunedin's seaside boutique hotel is located on the St Clair Esplanade block, a stone’s throw from the local cafes, restaurants and bars. The building was built in 1919 and has been recently refurbished by the new owners; Joff and Penny Riley. The renovation embraces the many stories its walls contain, as well as creating a relaxed, beach feel with a touch of luxury which has been easily achieved within the existing character of the building. Joff and Penny provide a stress free and relaxed stay for their guests within the quiet comforts of this stunning heritage building, catering for visitors from abroad, local staycation guests, corporate trips and business travellers looking for fully-equipped accommodation. Payment Policy At the time of making a reservation your credit card details will be required to secure the booking in regard to our cancellation policy. Payment will be taken prior to arrival on the day of check in with the credit card used when the reservation was made. A credit card must be provided to cover all charges that may be made against the room and any possible damages caused by misuse or carelessness. CHECK IN and OUT: We now have a self check in system as reception may be closed on your arrival. A pin code will be sent via mobile phone or email with all check in information on the morning of your arrival. Check in time is from 2pm, and guests can self check in. Check out time is before 10am . Variations outside these times must be arranged with reception prior to the day of arrival or departure so that staffing arrangements can be made. We are happy to store your luggage. All our rooms, balconies and indoor guest areas are strictly non smoking. Smoking is permitted in an around our outdoor areas. PLEASE dispose of any smoke butts in pots provided. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made within 48 hours prior to the day of arrival, reduction of stay length should also be made 48 hours prior to the date of any change, otherwise a cancellation fee equivalent to the first nights stay may be charged against the card used to secure the booking. Please note that the bookings are only valid for the dates as booked and for the number of people indicated.
